Pneumatic air hose by Mangla Rubber Industries

Mangla Rubber Industries manufactures pneumatic hose for compressed air, nitrogen and inert gas in workshops, plant air rings and construction equipment. Nitrile or EPDM tube with high-tensile textile braid, rated 10 to 20 bar across 6 mm to 50 mm bore, supplied with high-flow couplings that do not starve air tools.

Pneumatic Hose Specifications

Specification Detail
Tube Oil-resistant synthetic rubber (NBR) or EPDM
Reinforcement High-tensile textile braid or spiral
Cover Abrasion, oil, weather and ozone resistant synthetic rubber
Bore range 6 mm to 50 mm
Working pressure 10 to 20 bar typical
Burst pressure 3 to 4× working pressure
Temperature range −20 °C to +80 °C
Media Compressed air, nitrogen, inert gases, water
Oil carry-over Nitrile tube handles compressor oil mist
Supply Coils, cut lengths and assemblies with couplings fitted

Air flow rises with roughly the fourth power of bore, so moving from 6 mm to 12 mm increases capacity about sixteen-fold. Undersized hose and standard quick-release couplings starve air tools far more than most workshops realise.

Why Plants and Distributors Choose Mangla Pneumatic Hose

Applications

Couplings and End Fittings

Supplied with crimped fittings or safety-clamped couplings, including high-flow quick-release, Geka and claw couplings for air and water, and BSP or NPT threaded ends. Whip checks are supplied on assemblies above about 19 mm bore because compressed gas stores energy and bursts violently.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size pneumatic hose do I need?

Size against the combined CFM of tools running at once plus 25% headroom, over the full run length including couplings. A 1/2″ impact wrench needs 8 mm bore to about 20 m; a 1″ impact wrench needs 12 mm minimum.

Does hose diameter really affect air flow that much?

Yes. Flow capacity rises with roughly the fourth power of internal diameter, so doubling the bore increases capacity about sixteen times at the same pressure drop. Diameter matters far more than length.

Do quick-release couplings reduce air flow?

Significantly. A standard 6 mm quick-release restricts flow by the equivalent of 3 to 5 metres of hose. Replacing them with high-flow couplings often helps more than upsizing the hose.

Can a hydraulic hose be used for compressed air?

Only if rated for gas service. Compressed gas stores energy, so a gas burst is far more violent than a liquid burst at the same pressure.
